Linking a backup job to a scheduler task.

  1. First of all you should create a task for the scheduler. To do it, click Add task... in the scheduler window an type a name for the task in the dialog box. This name serves for task identification and later will help you to link the task with a backup job.
  2. Go to the Frequency tab and set date, time and other conditions for performing the scheduled task.
  3. Go to the Deadline tab and specify the period of the task’s activity if necessary.
  4. Click OK to close the dialog box.
  5. Click Add job... in the backup window.
  6. Enter a name for your backup job in the dialog box and select the name of previously created scheduler task in the Schedule Name box.
  7. Set other parameters of the backup job and close the dialog box by clicking OK.
  8. Make sure that the name you have selected in the schedule column corresponds with the column in the backup job list.

You can link several backup jobs (up to 50) to one scheduler task.
