Restoring data from backups.
To restore data, select a backup job in the main window of the program and
click the Restore button on the toolbar. The Backup Set Manager windows will
appear.

If you are restoring data saved to a CD / DVD, the program may request the
"root" disk (this disk was marked in the following
way when the backup was being created: backup_name #N root disk). If the data
was saved to an FTP server, make sure the server is available.
Make sure all the necessary
backup files are available. If the program does not find the necessary file
automatically, it will offer you to specify the location of this file.
You can either restore the
entire backup copy or select only the files you need. To select separate files,
use the Selected files tab

Select the copy that you would like to restore and click the Restore
button.
You must be an administrator
or a backup operator to back up files and folders.
Backup Set Manager does most things automatically. For example, when restoring
an incremental backup, you usually have to restore the entire backup first and
then all incremental backup copies made alter. Backup Deluxe 2005 will do it
for you. All you have to do is specify the last created incremental backup and
click the Restore button, Backup Set Manager will automatically restore the
entire backup file and then all necessary incremental backups in the right order.
We recommend that you test
a backup copy before restoring data. To do it, right-click the name of the backup
copy and select Test files in the context menu. In case it is an incremental
backup, all necessary files will be tested.
